  • Products labels

  • Product certification

  • Publicly accessible information (such as websites - must be informative, user-friendly, and accessible not just avialable)

Increased consumer interest in these issues is here to stay and what would be helpful would be a consumer oriented data base providing information on existing chemicals in commerce and alternatives without promoting one solution over another and letting the consumer make the decision. The consumer will eventually drive change through the supply chain. California is in a position to develop and make available such a tool.
